Smithfield Village Early Learning has developed a unique approach to childcare that understands the balance between education, care, play and wildhood.

From six weeks old to six years Smithfield Village Early Learning can offer a program suited to your child’s individual needs.

We go beyond standard toy rooms and outdoor play equipment, carefully designing complete experiences that engage and excite little ones whilst beginning to teach them important life skills.

We provide all meals, nappies, sunscreen and hats and each of our rooms are spacious and meet the new National Quality Standards.

    JOEYS

    6 weeks to 12 months

    Warm and Nurturing Care for Your Baby’s First Steps

    Nurturing and responsive relationships are our primary focus for our Joeys. Educators take time to get to know your child so that all children develop a strong sense of well-being and belonging.

    We respect the routines established by our families and maintain open communication with parents every day.

    KOALAS

    12 months to 2 years

    Play-Based Learning for Curious and Confident Toddlers

    Our Koalas toddlers desire to discover the world around them is supported through creations of environments that ignite their curiosity.

    A burst of language and development and the opportunity to learn about social interactions and relationships in a multicultural environment.

    WOMBATS

    15 months to 2 years

    In the Wombat Room, every day is a new adventure, with activities tailored to each child’s interests and learning style. Our educators provide opportunities to support each developmental area and support the child holistically. Whether it’s climbing a tree, painting hands, chatting, reading books or playing alongside their peers, children are guided to explore, grow, and thrive.

    2 to 3 years

    Building Confidence and School Readiness Through Engaging Activities

    Our flexible Dingo routine is filled with opportunity for role play, dance, music, literacy and numeracy, and the active physical play that children require each day.

    Our educators support each individual child’s emerging autonomy while being responsive to their needs for closeness and security.

    PLATYPUS

    2.5 to 3 years

    In the Platypus Room, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a safe space to discover their interests and potential. Our flexible daily routine is designed to support each child's individual learning journey while ensuring they feel secure and valued. Whether through interactive group activities, creative play, or quiet moments of reflection, we tailor our experiences to meet the diverse needs of our little learners.

    Our Cassowaries curriculum is based on curiosity and adventure. The program provides choice between indoor and outdoor learning environments that challenge and engage children in learning.

    CROCODILES

    4 to 5 years

    Preparing for School with Confidence

    Our Crocodile room runs the Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program while offering the flexibility of long day care hours.

    We offer an educational program that is challenging, insightful consultative and reflects each individual child. The program aims to prepare your child for school readiness.

    Sunlit Indoor Spaces with State of the Art Learning Resources

    Our spacious indoor learning areas are very well equipped with state of the art resources for all development stages.

    All rooms have been designed with neutral decor which provides a calming learning environment complimented by natural light.

    All our fixtures are made from natural materials including tables, chairs, book shelves and cushions.

    The classrooms for Senior Kindy and Kindergarten are equipped with the latest computer technology and interactive whiteboards, this enables ideal learning in these age groups.

    All rooms cater for individual age groups for optimal growth and development creating a real sense of belonging.

    Outdoor Facilities

    Engaging Outdoor Play and Nature Experiences for Growing Minds

     We have four sand pits, two large bike tracks, a waterpark, dry creek beds surrounded with fruit trees and natives to encourage wild life.

     We are very passionate about Sustainability Practices where we grow all fresh produce in our "Gardenworld"  which consists of Vegetables, fruits and herbs. This space is available for the children to be part of the planting, watering and harvesting process.

    We have a barnyard, which has been specially designed to cater for our chickens, goats and ducks.

    Children are encouraged to participate in the maintaining of the animals which includes preparing food, collecting eggs, feeding and basic cleaning.

    Chef Made Menus

    Nutritious Chef-Prepared Meals for Healthy, Happy Kids

    It’s important to eat well, so we encourage our little ones to begin early with healthy nutritional meals prepared on site by our in-house chef.

    Each child will have the opportunity to experience a new cuisine weekly including curries, sushi, stir fry’s, mash & roasted beef, grilled fish & many more mouth watering meals.

    Our nut free centre caters fully for any allergies or intolerances.
